Mindful Moving & Eating

As moving and eating are a part of our daily lives, engaging mindfulness in a variety of settings can help us slow down and appreciate the nuances of our world.

Mindful eating sessions are structured to help us slow down and pay attention to the tastes, nutrients, and pairings of flavors that we may move past too quickly in daily life to appreciate. The neuroscience and physiology of full-presence can be integrated to help participants understand the eating process in their lives. Sessions can be led by one of the Prism Team members or structured as team partnerships with chefs and restaurants in your area. Menus can be tailored to fit specific needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and paleo.

Interacting in partnerships can include humans, dogs, raptors, and a wide variety of other animals. When we show up all the way- when we are fully present- our interactions and partnerships become stronger and more powerful for ourselves, the animal, and the relationship.

Projectiles give us an opportunity to measure accurately when our aim is on target and where we have drifted from our true intention. When we close the gap between what we are aiming at and our skill set we end up shooting straighter because we are fully present with the reality of our skills, intentions, and executions; this is true for arrows as well as business and relationships.

“I only went out for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.”
